Privacy Policy

The short version: HerePrice doesn't require an account, doesn't collect your name, email or payment details, and the few things it does remember (your wishlist, comparison selections, and recently viewed products) are stored only in your own browser — never on our servers.

1. Information we do not collect

HerePrice has no sign-up, login, or account system. We do not ask for or store your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or payment information. We do not sell products directly and never handle your payment details — all purchases are completed on the retailer's own site (Amazon, Flipkart, or another partner).

2. Information stored in your browser

To make the site useful across visits, HerePrice keeps a few small pieces of data using your browser's local storage:

• Wishlist — products you've tapped the heart icon on.
• Comparison selection — the products you've added to compare.
• Recently viewed products — a short history of products you've opened.

This data lives entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to or stored on HerePrice's servers, and we have no way to see it. Clearing your browser's site data (or using a different browser or device) clears it. See our Cookie Policy for more on how this differs from cookies.

3. Standard server logs

Like virtually any website, the infrastructure that serves HerePrice automatically logs basic technical information for every request — your IP address, browser/device information, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is used only for security, abuse prevention, and debugging, is retained for a limited period, and is not linked to any profile of you.

4. Product data and where it comes from

The prices, ratings, specifications, images and reviews shown on HerePrice are sourced from publicly available retailer listings (principally Amazon, and for some categories Flipkart and Google Shopping). This is third-party data about products, not data about you.

5. Third-party services and links

• Google Fonts. HerePrice loads typography from Google's font servers (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font involves a request to Google, governed by Google's own privacy policy.
• Outbound retailer links. "Buy Now" and similar links take you to a third-party retailer's website. Once you leave HerePrice, that retailer's privacy policy applies to any information you provide them — HerePrice has no visibility into or control over that.
• Analytics and advertising. HerePrice does not currently run any third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, this policy — and, where required, a cookie/consent notice — will be updated before any such service goes live.

6. Children's privacy

HerePrice is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the infrastructure behind HerePrice, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

You can clear your wishlist, comparison selection, and recently-viewed history at any time by clearing your browser's site data for HerePrice, or by using your browser's private/incognito mode. You're also free to use ad-blocking or privacy-extension tools — HerePrice doesn't rely on tracking to function.

9. Changes to this policy

If HerePrice's practices change — for example, if we introduce accounts, analytics, or advertising — we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be flagged prominently on the site.
