Very good Smart AC

The App is very helpful in controlling the Ac, the installation was very good from panasonic, the ac delivery very good performance, although the outdoor unit is a bit noisy. Overall panasonic offer very good cooling with high energy efficiency. If you want to pay less for electricity charges during summer time go for this Ac. The price is slightly higher but it offers very good performance so I am satisfied my the overall experience.

Just don’t buy it. You cannot trust it.

This is my experience with Panasonic 1.5 Ton 5 Star AC 2026 model in Mumbai.Lest talk about the build quality, build quality is ok, indoor unit is big compare to other brands. Remote feels very cheap but it has led light. External unit looks and feels solid.I bought it on 7th March from Amazon.It was delivered today morning, 9th March.I booked the installation for the next day. But I got a call from the installation technician. He asked if he could come today for installation.I said ok.The technician came around 2 PM and started the installation.After installation was finished, he started the AC.But it was not cooling.He checked everything and then told me the unit is defective.He said I need to contact Amazon.I contacted Amazon support.They said the same product is not available in their warehouse.So the only option is return and refund.I asked about the installation charges.The technician said normally I don’t have to pay until installation is completed.But in case of return, I have to pay the installation charges.Amazon support told me they will reimburse the installation amount after the pickup is completed. But I have to share original bill from the installation technician.I was not the only one.The installation technician told me that today morning he installed another unit of the same AC and that one was also defective.There was no gas in that unit.I have attached the screenshot for entites exposed to home assistant via matter.I would definitely not recommend this ac to anyone.You may hear from people that it is an excellent AC and top quality.That is true when the AC works.But the problem is reliability.When it works, it works very well.But many times users get frustrated because of quality issues and poor service.Update:I have shared the original bill from service provider and now amazon denied the payment by saying you have no written proof. I told them I have call recording but amazon denied it

Very Fast Cooling, Best and Fast Wifi Connectivity... Excellent Service

I was worried before purchasing this AC as it got some negative reviews and all but I took the risk and I have to say I am impressed by the professional Panasonic Workers who came and did all installation and everything hassle free and also their behaviour was good and helped me and explained me what to do for better longevity...that's true with everything it totally costed 3657 instead of 1200 rs ...that's totally normal and reasonable...The MirAi App is insanely smooth and good and Alexa and google voice control is fast as hell...I feel like I got a perfect AC which cools so fast in My 156 sq ft bed room + 116 sq ft studio room as well in very less time...I tested with 20°c and it didn't even take 10 minutes to cool my bed room to 24°c which had 34°c+ temperature at the time and it became 20°c in just 20 minutes...I tested that with Infrared thermometerSo from cooling I felt like 10/10I also have a LG 1 ton 5 star Ac before but that's good for Smaller room but for two rooms attached together... Panasonic one does th perfect job indeed...I also took an extended warranty seperately with 2500 rs later on....as This is gonna be my main AC..it's better to take more protection...Hope everyone gets perfect and not defective items and better service like this...Thank You Amazon...I am satisfied with the purchase!

1 Star less due to Installation. Let me talk about the product first then I will come to Installation, and make sure to read it because it is important.So, the product itself is good. It is powerful and cools my 150+sq feet room perfectly in low time.Build quality is not bad, I will rate it 7.5/10. According to my preference the design is beautiful or kinda aesthetic. They have done a few cost cutting, like there is no mesh or protection on the side and back of Outdoor unit like LG or Daikin. Remote is pretty basic and manual provided doesn't even list everything in details.In one line it is "You paid for AC, we are giving you a powerful AC which really works but don't ask for more".What was inside the box? AC, copper pipes, wire than connect IDU to ODU, remote and batteries. YOU HAVE TO BUY WIRE CONNECTING IDU TO SOCKET SEPARATELY. Also there is no WRAPPING TAPE inside, you have to buy that too. Make sure to buy rubber padding for ODU from Installation team at ₹118 including GST.Noise level, IDU, if you keep the fan in Quiet mode, there is almost no sound but other levels like Low, Medium, High have a distinct sound. Maybe because the blower is huge. Remember I am talking about a quiet room, in normal conditions you won't even hear anything.And ODU, it makes a distinct shrill kind of sound and it is very clearly noticeable becuase these have 2 blade fans which make noise but push more wind.Now Installation, I am talking about Howrah, the guy they sent to me was the most corrupt guy, someone Raqibul or something. He didn't use the round cutter drill but attached it for sending photo to his office, he then used hammer and chenni and normal drilling.He didn't checked the product after opening it. As if he just wanted to put it up in the wall and leave.He tried to cheat me every step of the installation, like saying there is no cotton wrapping tape, you have to buy tape from me, 1 round ₹242, double wrap ₹484. If you provide tape, I will charge more because you are not buying from me, etc.Then he didn't have any proper tool for bending the copper pipe properly. He used his hands 🥲. Then again he tried to cheat with the vacuuming process. This is interesting, read properly now.He connected the vacuum pump and within 1 min said it is done and clicked a photo and sent to his office and said I will keep it on for 5 more minutes because we are instructed like this by office.I argued that it is not the process, how can the gauge of vacuum pump come to -30 from 0 instantly. It is a slow process. He gave me so much of lame excuses, lame explanations and lot of arguing and wasted my 2 hours. In the end, I said, I won't pay if you do not do this properly.I returned him and asked him to come back again with proper vacuum machine, I then emailed Panasonic about this. Next day he came with a senior Technician and then the vacuuming was done properly. It took around 30-35 minutes for the dial of gauge to go -30 from 0!So my knowledge and confidence saved my AC. They are doing this almost everywhere. There are many more details that I omitted in this review but believe me it was easy and no brand is good in this regard, because ultimately they send you local people, who are half trained and most don't want to work. It is your responsibility to manage them. No matter what the brand, Installation is like this almost everywhere, be aware. Anyway, one fine details, the technician when he was leaving the first day, got angry and said, "Vacuuming is not needed, earlier ACs didn't need it, nothing will happen to your AC, you are overthinking".

Very good an trustworthy AC in the market.

In terms of inverter acs - working, efficiency and usage it is the best product in market.Go for it, it's worth money spent. Wifi connectivity is very stable and awesome. Temperature management is good, Noise level is average.Installation could have been better. They did the job well. But left in ziffy, few small but important things they missed. Which I had to tell them and then they did. Still they missed covering the copper pipe in outdoor unit connection. Which I did myself later.
