Airflow Issue Solved, Turns Out Regular Filter Cleaning Is the Key

I am writing this review after using this AC for almost 3 months.After about 2 months of usage, I started noticing a significant reduction in airflow, and I was quite disappointed. Even on VIRAAT Mode, the air throw felt much weaker than before. I contacted LG customer support and raised a service request.When the technician visited, he checked the top filter and found that it was heavily covered with dust. Because of the clogged filter, the airflow had reduced drastically. Once the filter was cleaned, the AC immediately started throwing air properly again, just like it did when it was new.So my main suggestion to all users is: clean the filter regularly. I personally clean it every weekend or once every 10 days whenever I get some time. It takes hardly 5 minutes, and the AC performs like new afterward.After learning this simple maintenance tip, I realized that the AC itself is actually very good. It cools the room effectively and is extremely quiet during normal operation. You will barely hear it running, even at high fan speeds. Only VIRAAT Mode or Diet Cooling Mode produces noticeable sound.Initially, because of the airflow issue, I was planning to give this product 2 or 3 stars. However, after understanding the actual cause, I am giving it 5 stars. The issue was due to a basic maintenance requirement that can happen with any AC, not just this particular model. Therefore, I don’t think it is fair to reduce the rating for that.I am sharing this experience so that anyone facing a similar issue can try cleaning the filter first before calling a technician. It may save you both time and effort.

We are extremely dissatisfied and frustrated with the AC installation service provided by LG.We spent around ₹40,000 on this AC, expecting quality service and professional installation. However, the experience has been completely unacceptable. The two technicians who came for installation did not have proper equipment and lacked even basic technical knowledge. They were unable to decide where to fix the AC and did not even know how to drill a basic hole in the wall.Within less than one month of installation, we raised a complaint regarding poor cooling. The service technician who visited informed us that the issue was due to improper installation, which clearly proves that the initial installation was done incorrectly by your team.At the time of installation, we were assured that any issues within one year would be covered under free service. However, when we contacted the service team within a month, we were told that charges may apply in the future. This contradiction is unacceptable.Additionally, each LG staff member is providing different and conflicting information, which reflects poor coordination and unprofessional service.LG must take full responsibility for this issue. We demand that a properly trained and well-equipped team be sent immediately to fix the problem without any additional charges.This has been a complete waste of time and money, and such service is not expected from a reputed brand like LG.

Good performance and superb cooling

Using the ac from about 6 konths.The cooling performance of this AC is amazing. Tending to zero noise. Depending upon how and where the AC is installed it can do it's job almost perfectly. Remote control is little messy as you have to adapt to various combinations for different function. Overall great performance
