Review of LG Washer-Dryer (6 Months of Usage)

This has been one of our best purchases this year. After offers, we bought this Washer/Dryer for ₹42,000, and it definitely provides great value for money.App Integration – Unlocking Full PotentialTo get the most out of this machine, you must use it with the LG ThinQ app. The app allows you to download and use additional programs (one at a time) for different use cases.Dry30: Freshens damp clothes before storage (about 1 hour including cooldown).Dry60: Dries small loads effectively (about 1.5 hours including cooldown).Note: Every drying cycle has a cooldown period (~30 mins). Drying large loads can take up to 3 hours, so keep that in mind.Washing PerformanceFor regular washing, our preferred cycles are:Turbo Wash: 59 mins at 40°C or 69 mins at 60°CSpeed 14: 26 mins with 1200 rpm spin at 40°COther options: Cotton, Cotton+, Mixed Fabric, Steam Cycles (all adjust timings automatically based on load).Performance is good—though not the very best out there. Lint formation is minimal and water usage is lower than average.Drying PerformanceThis machine uses a condenser dryer (not the faster vented type).Dry Only Mode: ~3 hours for ~5kg load.Dry30: ~1 hour including cooldown.Dry60: ~1.5 hours including cooldown.Keep the machine in a well-ventilated space while drying— it gets quite hot. The app diagnosed it correctly, and LG customer care confirmed it was a voltage issue.LG Customer Care has been excellent so far—responsive and helpful.VerdictIf your budget allows, this Washer-Dryer is one of the best value-for-money options available. It may not be the fastest dryer (since it’s condenser based), but with flexible cycles, smart app features, and reliable wash performance, it’s a strong long-term choice.

TOO GOOD QUALITY & PERFOMMANCE OF L.G WASHING MACHINE.

Working excellently!

It is working excellently for me. No problems. Easy to use. Faster to wash clothes in. Even if you don't use the dryer function, the clothes come out with 10 to 15 percent of moisture after a wash cycle. We only put them out on the clothing line for about an hour under the sun and open air and they are perfect! Love the fuzzy logic technology in it as it does all the math about the right water temperature, spin movements, time etc. You probably need to look after machine more than you would for a semi automatic but that's okay. I recommend using the liquid detergent, it improved the wash quality. No noise like those old machines. It is a good invest for the family.

Vibration tips

I did the installation by myself, washing is fine, but when it comes to spinning parts, the machine vibrates a lot, so i had to stop it. I rearrange the clothes and try again, it happens again and again. I was very frustrated and disappointed. So i give up, and do a research. I don't expect this kind of experience at this price.. After tons of information, i watch the simple LG front load washing machine installation guide. And i found out that this stupid bulky screw need to be remove!! After i remove, it works like a charm. 😂
