LG 1 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC (JS-Q12ATXD, White)

Five star for product but zero star for Amazon/LG installation and customer service

I got it at 28990/- during GST sale. This product is very good at this price. Very silent and cools down my 150 sq feet bedroom in no time. Will have to check the actual performance in summer. However I have used the mosquito away functionality but not sure about the effectiveness since there is no mosquito problem in my area and we hardly have any mosquito in our bedroom.Coming to the delivery and installation experience. This is the worst ever delivery and installation experience I had ever.Delivery was delayed by courier partner Blue Dart to extreme level, contacting Amazon customer care was not useful. Then I decided to contact the Blue Dart directly, that too was not useful since local guys were not supportive. Finally I wrote an email to Blue dart Management and they were really very supportive and there response was very quick. They arranged special shipment for my product and it was delivered on that day only, they called me three time to confirm that whether the product is delivered to me or not . They also apologized for delay and promised that it will not happen again.Now the installation part, as soon as I informed the LG service center that I have received the product, the very next day they came for installation but they did not agree to install it at 499/- which was the standard installation offer from Amazon and LG during that period. I had a long fight with the guy who came for installation saying that if Amazon as well as LG customer care both are confirming that standard installation should be done at 499/- then how can you ask 1500/- for the same. But he did not agree then I had no option and had to pay 1500/- for standard installation, 800/- for out door unit stand and 70/- for power plug.This was a bitter experience however the installation was done properly and AC is working well.Later I raised this issue to Amazon and they agreed to revert the 1000/- installation charges as Amazon pay balance but it took me almost 20 days and lot of follow up to get it. I also raised this issue with LG saying that this is happening with many customers and it is ultimately hurting the LG brand. I told them that people are giving the product zero star not because the product is bad but your authorized service centers are cheating the customers.LG customer care and there escalation system is pathetic, I did not get any help from LG customer care, upon insisting they gave me the service center owner mobile number as well as local LG area manager mobile number but both ware useless since they did not pick my phone. Then I decided to escalate this issue with LG India twitter account and it seems to working now. Today when I was writing this review I received the call from service center owner and he promised me to check this issue and revert the extra amount charged for standard installation. I will update the status whether I actually get the refund from service center or not.This is really shame on the big brands like LG where they offer something which is being denied by there authorized service center and there is no proper and easy way to help the customer in this situation. I am sure that every body will not put that much efforts and will not have that much patience and time to fight for the justice which i have done. I have spent many hours calling and writing emails to escalate this issue with Amazon and LG not because of 1000 rs but for the ethics which big brands like LG and there authorized service providers are not following.

This is a bad product, got 2017 manufactured product delivered in 2026. Spoke to Amazon, and they helped me to return this product.

Authorised service centre a cheat.....

Bought this product online. Product satisfactory but Authorised service center in zirakpur, Punjab cheated me by not using the pipes accompanying the package , instead sold his additional pipes. So any saving that could have been there due to online shopping gone totally. Now pipes in package lying unused with me.

Best economical ac

LG smart inverter its all good in every aspects,it fits in your budget as it is an inverter ac which comes under 30 k, most of the 5 star ac from different brands prized upto 30k so its better to purchase inverter ac rather than 5 star ac, because no matter your usage is low or high inverter ac will always be economical for power consumtion..Now comes the installation, its overall a terrible thing mostly depends on the location of ac, if indoor n outdoor can be located back to back then its fine it will not charge you much as it will not require extra copper pipe n cables,extra charges per feets is Rs 250 / feets, so avoid to lengthen the distance of outdoor unit.Ac is realy nyc as it maintain same amount of temp which feels you comfortable neither too cool nor hot..best buy.

Great Product

I bought this AC for my father. It is awesome. It cools instantly and is extremely quiet. It is ideal for a small room. And LG quality is superb. This is my first LG product, I guess my future products will be from LG as well. Amazon service is awesome. I hardly go to any other site for buying stuff.
