Purchased Voltas 1.5 ton 3 star 2026 model AC on Prime Day Sale 2026. Got a very favorable deal with exchange of my 10 years old Hitachi 1 ton AC (working condition).Delivery by Amazon was on the day (Sunday), as I had selected. Delivery and acceptance (pick up) of my old AC by Amazon was very smooth.After delivery within 2 hours received call from Technician for installation on Sunday itself. Technicians came on time and completed installation within 2 hours. Technicians were very thorough on the job.Installation charges taken from me Rs.1650/-, though on Amazon it was declared as Rs.1399/-. Technicians told that Rs.1650/- is the standard installation charges for all split ACs. During installation, technicians has shown the Copper wires inside Compressor (Outdoor) unit and Air filters in Indoor unit. Not expected such prompt and good service in a city like Jammu.Using the AC since last 3 days and felt comfortable.Noise level not at all noticeable.Airflow is fair enough to cool down my 160 Sqft room in 10 minutes.Fully satisfied with product. It is a budget friendly AC. Must be recommended to others.

Not working well

It's a pathetic product.Yesterday I received the ac. I already have 3 voltas same configuration ac at home. They all are working well including 7 yr old ac purchased from Amazon only. But this product is not cooling the room properly. The room is not more than 140-150 sqft still this 1.5 ton is not working right from the day of installation. No water drainage from outdoor pipe. Huge noise. Lower the room temp only by 2 to 3 degree inspite of running as guided by installation member for 2 hrs.Called voltas customer care, technician is saying to call the installation guy and installation guy is saying that let technician come first. Technician given me the time which already has passed but no one visit until now.The room is packed properly. Small exhaust window is also closed from outside. Still no use.I want refund asap.

Consider as value for money

Cooling performance better but build quality not up to mark and indoor noise level more than tell in description.No remote battery available in packing.Consider as value for money. Ac delivered on 27 may but installation done on 01 jun. Not happy with voltas team because delay in installation.

Rude Staff and No Installation Support Worst Customer Service Experience

I purchased a Voltas 1.5 ton split AC, but my experience with the customer care and installation support has been extremely disappointing. When I called for installation, the representative spoke very rudely and unprofessionally. Despite repeated follow-ups, no one came for the installation.Later, when my wife called the customer care team, she was also spoken to very disrespectfully. Such behavior is unacceptable from a reputed brand like Voltas. Customer service should be helpful, polite, and responsive, but in this case it was the exact opposite.I am sharing this review so that the company takes strict action against such staff and ensures this kind of behavior is not repeated with any other customer. A brand’s reputation depends on service, and this experience has seriously affected my trust in Voltas.
